Behind-the-Scenes tours

We are happy to welcome visitors to the Seabird Station to share the wonderful work we do! A guided tour of PHSS is ideal for bird enthusiasts and novices alike. Families and groups of all ages will enjoy seeing the native wildlife we rehabilitate and beautiful Biscayne Bay.

Each visit offers something new as our wildlife patients change with the seasons, and you can witness the transformation of our pelicans and owls. Plus, with our bayfront location, you'll enjoy refreshing breezes and beautiful views year-round

Behind-The-Scenes Tour Details:

Guided tour
Meet an ambassador animal
See Pelican feeding (if possible)
$100/per tour, up to 10 guests
$10 per guest for groups of 10+ (maximum 20)
Larger groups may organize multiple tours to accommodate 20+ guests

Behind-The-Scenes Tours are available Tuesday-Saturday at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm. Tours last 45-60 mins. Guided tours must be requested 3 weeks in advance. However, those looking for a last minute option can always take a self-guided tour.
